Description

Apollo Beach, located within Volusia County, Florida, offers nearly five miles of stunning coastline made up of crushed coquina shell sand. The beach is a serene destination, with the sparkling Atlantic waters adding to its beauty. However, it’s important to note that the waters can have strong currents and rough surf, so swimmers should be cautious. One unique feature of Apollo Beach is its designated nude area, located south of Parking Lot #5 at the northern end of the beach. Signs clearly mark where this section begins. In addition to beach relaxation, visitors can enjoy nearby hiking trails like the Castle Windy Trail and Eldora Hammock Trail, or take a guided fishing trip to Mosquito Lagoon, a popular spot for angler.
