Turner Beach, located at the southern tip of Captiva Island near Blind Pass, is a favorite spot for fishing, shelling, and breathtaking sunset views. The beach’s sandy shores are a haven for seashell collectors, and the rock jetty offers excellent fishing opportunities. While swimming near the bridge is not advised due to strong currents and a steep drop-off, moving farther down the beach provides calmer waters. The beach is well-equipped with parking, restrooms, and accessibility features, making it a convenient and beautiful spot for a relaxing day by the Gulf. Though dogs are not allowed, nearby bars and restaurants provide easy access for refreshments, or you can bring a picnic to enjoy on the sand.
