The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTM Research Reserve) protects 76,000 acres of Florida's northeast coast, stretching from Ponte Vedra Beach to the Palm Coast. Known for its diverse habitats, the reserve is home to a variety of fish and wildlife, and offers visitors a chance to explore more than 10 miles of scenic trails and boardwalks. The northern section of the reserve, located in St. Johns County, features beach access points along A1A, as well as a Visitors Center with interactive exhibits and live displays of local marine life.
