Eglin Beach Park is a private beach on Okaloosa Island, maintained for military and Department of Defense personnel, veterans, and federal employees. This non-crowded spot offers a break from the busier beaches in Destin, providing restrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, BBQ grills, and a large pavilion that can be reserved for private events. Accessible during summer months, Eglin Beach Park is open to all DoD personnel with proper ID, as well as their guests, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Gulf coast.
