Description

Big Talbot Island State Park, located on one of Northeast Florida's unique sea islands, is primarily a natural preserve known for its stunning landscape, perfect for nature study, bird-watching, and photography. Explore diverse habitats by hiking Blackrock Trail, Big Pine Trail, and Old Kings Highway. The park’s most famous spot, Boneyard Beach, is filled with salt-washed tree skeletons, offering a truly unique experience for photographers. Blackrock Beach also features rare geologic formations and eroding cliffs. Swimming is not recommended, but visitors can enjoy hiking, exploring tide pools, or launching a boat to fish and explore the salt marsh.
